The retired employees of Kern County was organized in response to the desires of former employees of Kern
County and those on the threshold of retirement, to preserve and promote the general welfare of retired
employees of Kern County. The general purpose of the Retired Employees of Kern County shall be to provide a
central coordinated group through which the desires and objectives of its members may be advanced, and to
encourage the continued productivity of retired Kern County employees to the mutual benefit of its
members and the community.
